About Seretide Accuhaler (Salmeterol/Fluticasone)
Seretide 50 Mcg/250 Mcg Accuhaler combines two drugs that open the airways and make breathing easier. It is used to treat asthma (wheezing and shortness of breath) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a lung disease in which airflow is blocked).
This medicine may become noticeable after a few days, but it will peak after a few weeks. This medicine must be used regularly for the effects to last, so continue to take it even if you have no symptoms. It means he’s doing his job. Do not use to relieve sudden asthma attacks. If you have an asthma attack, use a quick-relief inhaler (a laxative). To benefit from this medicine, you need to make sure that inhaler technology is used correctly. Otherwise, it will not work correctly.

Seretide Accuhaler is used to help people who need regular treatment for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The two leading causes of asthma symptoms are bronchoconstriction (tightening of the airways’ muscles) and inflammation (swelling and irritation of the airways).
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a long-term disease that affects the lungs and is caused by chronic bronchitis or emphysema. Symptoms of COPD include shortness of breath, cough, chest discomfort, and sputum production. COPD symptoms are mainly caused by bronchoconstriction (muscles) respiratory tract and inflammation (swelling and irritation of the respiratory tract).
Fluticasone propionate belongs to a group called corticosteroids, commonly known as ‘steroids’. They don’t have “anabolic steroids,” which are steroids that athletes sometimes abuse.
Corticosteroids have anti-inflammatory properties. It relieves swelling and irritation of the small walls of the lungs’ airways and makes breathing easier. Corticosteroids are generally used for the treatment of asthma and COPD.
Monkey methanol is a bronchodilator. Bronchodilators open the airways in the lungs and relieve symptoms of asthma and other lung diseases. The effect of salmeterol lasts up to 12 hours. Regular intake of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol may reduce shortness of breath.
Do not use this medicine to treat sudden shortness of breath. You will need another type of medicine, such as mentoring (salbutamol). Not to be confused with SERTIDE.
