Furamist Nasal Spray 27.5 Mcg composition
All sprays of Furamist contain fluticasone furoate 27.5 Mcg. Fluticasone furoate is a manufactured Trifluorinated corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory movement. The exact mechanism by which fluticasone furoate affects the symptoms of rhinitis is not known.

How does Furamist Nasal Spray 27.5 Mcg work?

This medication is a synthetic corticosteroid which binds with high affinity to the glucocorticoid receptor.
It also acts to inhibit cytosolic phospholipase A2, which helps control the biosynthesis of potent inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation.
How to take Furamist Nasal Spray 27.5 Mcg?
Use exactly as your healthcare provider has told you to use it. The healthcare provider will tell you how much to use and when to use it. Shake it lightly before using it.
Remove the plastic dust cap from the spray’s pump tip. Hold the bottle upright with two fingers on the shoulders of its pump unit and your thumb on the bottom of the bottle. Press upward with your thumb and release for pumping action.
For each spray, press down firmly on the pump and tilt your head down while inhaling slowly through your nostrils. When you’re done using it, wipe the tip with a clean tissue or cloth. Put the dust cap back on the spray pump end of the bottle.
