Hold the inhaler properly in your mouth. Breath out as far as is comfortable. You have to take the mouthpiece in your mouth. Close your lips firmly around it. Do not use your teeth. And then, just after you start to breathe in, press firmly down on the top of the canister to release a puff of medicine.

Do this while continuing to breathe in slowly and deeply. After that continue to hold your breath for a few seconds or for as long as it is comfortable for you. Wait for around half a minute between each consecutive puff of medicine and then a second puff of the medicine in a similar method.
